Six Sentence Sunday #2

Week two for me of Six Sentence Sunday, though I still haven’t managed to submit to the actual site.

This weeks sentences are from a short story titled ‘Forever?’.

 

Slowly she lifted her head and glanced around the clearing nervously, looking for a place to hide from her pursuers, though she was fairly certain she had lost them a while ago.

Splotches of pink, purple, yellow and orange flowers were scattered all over the grassy canvas.

That giggle filled the air again and the being sat on its tiny rump, legs swinging over the side of the rock.

“Silly girl.” She said, resting a pink-tinted hand against Lyssa’s face. “There is no leaving here.”
